Florence Outlet - Retail Receiving Associate

Come join the team that is reinventing home! Wayfair is hiring a Retail Receiving Associate for our returns Outlet retail store and warehouse! 


Hourly Pay: 

  • Starting at $17 per hour Peak Bonuses and Incentives


Shift: 

  • Wednesday - Friday 6:00am - 4:30pm, Saturday 8:00am - 6:30pm

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and create a best in class customer experience. 
  • Maintaining visual standards, replenishment, safety and backroom standards.
  • Participate in all operational aspects of the store including but not limited to: processing new products, floor sets, replenishment, substitutions and general upkeep of the store
  • Exemplify a positive and professional attitude on a daily basis with customers and your team members.
  • Engage in a high energy, focused and dynamic work environment. 
  • Assist with furniture delivery to customer's vehicles
  • Be crossed trained and prepared to work in the warehouse as needed.
  • Unload and receive returned product which will require manually moving large, heavy goods.
  • Must be comfortable repeatedly lifting up to 75 pounds unassisted and maneuvering product 150 pounds unassisted or via team lift.
  • Comfortable using scan technology 
  • Able to read and comprehend English to ensure your safety and the safety of those working around you.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Must be able to work on the warehouse floor 8 hours a day or more.

 

What You'll Need:

  • 1 years of stock receiving required.  Retail, and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Positive attitude and passion for great customer service 
  • Strong organization, self-motivation, communication and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Google applications preferred.
  • All employees will be expected to represent the brand through polished communication, personal appearance and professionalism.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills
  • Positive, professional attitude and demonstrated enthusiasm for supporting customers
  • Technical acumen to learn necessary software (Google) to manage inventory and price items 
  • Ability to process information and merchandise through a computer system and POS register system
