As our company continues to grow, we are looking to add an experienced Contracts Manager to our team of talented professionals.
In this role a person will:
Assist with the preparation, review, negotiation, and execution of Construction Subcontracts, purchase orders, and related corporate documents.
Understand and interpret the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs).
Understand and interpret Massachusetts General Law as well as other State and Federal requirements.
Assist with the drafting and handling of all claims related documents and legal protective measures for both claimant and defense positions as necessary, working closely at times with outside counsel.
Provide legal review of project specifications and requirements and assist with all issues related to public bidding.
A law school graduate with 5-7 years of relevant legal experience is required; construction industry experience with strong knowledge of federal (FARs and CFR) and state regulations is required. Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills are essential.
