Waypoint is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our existing OT Team at our Fraser Ford School, a licensed therapeutic preschool and special education program. The Therapist works as part of the child's team to implement treatment goals and provide direct services under the supervision of the Licensed OT, to children aged 3 through Grade 5, in this year-round Day Treatment setting. At Fraser Ford, we serve children with Autism, developmental disabilities, and related needs in this friendly, active, evidence-based program. The Therapist works in collaboration with on-site professionals that also include Special Education Teachers, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Speech and PT providers, and Educational Technicians/Behavioral Health Professionals who support the children in a 1:1 or 1:2 staffing ratio. Qualifications:
- COTA licensure in Maine, as well as successful background, criminal records, fingerprinting, and reference checks. Must be highly organized, have excellent time management skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Those with experience, as well as recent graduates, are encouraged to apply.
