What is the purpose of this position?
Waystar is seeking a talented and energetic, data-driven analyst to play a key role on our HS&H Client Operations team. In this role, you will apply an analytical approach to the PARO Presumptive Charity product to enhance the delivery and exchange of data insights to our growing client base.
The successful Business Analyst will have a passion for data, analytics, and problem solving, who will not only bring their experience to the team but will also explore new and interesting ways for us to build our analytic capabilities for the PARO solution as the business grows.

· Gather, examine, and analyze large sets of data from multiple sources in order to define and diagnose different patterns for data manipulation
· Verify, monitor, and optimize data exchanges between Waystar, data providers, product developers and our clients
· Manage data integrity by ensuring the data delivered to clients is being executed as planned
· Streamline data reporting to support PARO client growth and improve current processes
· Work with clients to understand the data they provide and how that data translates into the PARO score driving client business improvement
· Manage and maintain transmission of production files between clients and PARO through SFTP software
· Perform other general quantitative analysis per clients’ requests (special reporting & file processing)
· Work with the Waystar Solution Adoption Team to onboard new PARO clients
· Perform calibration and recalibration exercises to create PARO scoring rule sets that are used by clients to calculate approval thresholds
· Ensure file traffic is processing as expected on daily basis
· Create and maintain monthly volume metrics to ensure clients stability and growth
· Generate Community Benefit Reports at clients’ fiscal year end to show results for the period
Do you fit our team?
· Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other related quantitative field
· 2+ years of experience performing data analysis in a business environment
· Experience using SQL Server for complex projects and tasks a plus
· Proven experience managing data, including data analysis and problem solving
· Familiarity with the challenges of data extraction and manipulation of large data sets
· Strong communication skills both written and oral
· Attention to detail and strong commitment to quality
· Healthcare experience a plus
