What is the purpose of this position?   The Strategic Project Manager is responsible for the successful client implementation of Waystar solutions. This individual will work with the Waystar internal teams and the client project team to define client success by establishing key success metrics, drive progress to those established metrics, resulting in completion of a successful adoption of the Waystar platform according to the agreed upon project timelines. The Project Manager engagement begins with the sales transition to Client Adoption, the move to production, and the transition of the solution and client to the Waystar Client Success Team. Individuals in this position are expected to have or develop a specific knowledge of Waystar’s business, industry, and operations, including an intimate understanding of healthcare specific billing requirements, reimbursement, enrollment, and patient billing and payments. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to interact with some of the largest, most successful and prestigious Healthcare Enterprise organizations in the U.S.     Looking for some details?   - Oversee and manage all aspects of the project implementation; including product solutions and associated financial projections based on client onboarding strategy - Responsible for overseeing the development of client workflow based on client requirements - Define, understand, and support the client project success criteria and goals - Define and communicate project plan updates to the Waystar team and client project manager - Proactively manage project status, issue list, and risk management reporting - Identify and timely resolution of service disruption to the satisfaction of all parties involved - Appropriately escalate incidents that compromise project deliverable to the appropriate personnel - Direct and manage multiple client projects and facilitate to a timely resolution of project  - Act as primary contact to the client for project and milestone issues - Coordinate Waystar project team resources and deliverables - Deliver monthly internal project status report out - Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment - Proactively manage changes in project scope and devise contingency plans for these changes - Client and colleague relationship management skills - Coordinate monthly strategic review sessions with client and Waystar leadership - Document client set-up information and specifics for the Transition Document - Perform other duties and /or projects as assigned by management within the area of responsibility - At least 50% Travel Required   Do you fit our team?   - Bachelor degree is required - Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills - Healthcare billing or healthcare operations experience required preferably institutional and provider billing knowledge - Ability to adapt to various levels and possess influencing skills at all levels - Must be a quick learner and self-motivated - Skilled at navigating difficult conversations and guiding them to desirable outcomes - Able to communicate effectively with client executives and to advise them on project strategy - Project management experience working with large healthcare organizations preferred - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently - Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate the results of implementations with team members, clients, and vendor partners         Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.   In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
