Job Description
Under direct supervision, working as a liaison between Operations and Support Services. Coordinating preventative maintenance and repair services on various vehicles and equipment. Handle yard maintenance including stacking and moving items throughout the industrial yard, cleaning equipment, and fulfilling general tasks as required, all while adhering to safety policies. Perform labor-intensive tasks w orking outdoors in various climates.
Support Services
Roles and Responsibilities
- Check trucks before they leave the yard to ensure they are properly stocked.
- Check tire conditions on trucks.
- Check miles and stickers on trucks.
- Clean out trucks that are dirty and note the truck number, and report to the yard team.
- Checks equipment in or out as needed.
- Verifies that equipment is in good mechanical and safe operating condition upon being taken out or being returned.
- Responsible for red tagging equipment that needs repair.
Operations
Roles and Responsibilities
- Get field employees the equipment they need & fill out the appropriate documentation.
- Inventory new items and send weekly list.
- Stock snacks generously
- Stock coffee stations, clean inside microwave and sanitize the area.
- Fill both ice chests with water bottles.
- Keep connex clean-floors, dust etc.
- Change camera batteries.
- Open umbrellas, weather permitting.
- Take trash out.
- Assists drivers with loading/unloading as necessary.
- Ensure checks to verify stock levels for re-ordering are accurate and appropriate.
- Ensure yard and equipment storage containers are always organized and clean.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated and team-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work while standing, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, kneeling, and lifting for the entire duration of the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid class C driver license required.
- Must be able to work outdoors subject to inclement weather (heat/cold) year-round.
- Ability to use basic tools.
- Must be able to communicate effectible with others.
- Participate in training programs as required.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
