Location: Omaha, NE, 68137

WCR is looking to extend it's development team with an Entry Level Full Stack Web Developer with motivation and a passion for programming!

You will join a small team to develop and maintain a variety of internal line of business web applications, data transformations, and automations. Work requires at least 2 years of experience in ASP.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS. There will be opportunities to work on the next generation of our applications built with HTMX, Tailwind, and F#. You will work with our internal users to understand their needs, design, develop, and deliver solutions to help them achieve their goals. 

The ideal candidate will be sought based on the following:

Required Skills:

  • 2 years of experience in C# or F#
  • 2 years of experience with JavaScript/Typescript & CSS
  • 2 years of experience with an SQL database system

Critical Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated to grow and learn

Strong Pluses:

  • Experience with or desire to learn F#
  • Experience with HTMX
  • Experience with Typescript
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience with Jira
  • Experience with the functional programming paradigm
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with Knockout.js
  • Experience with web automation frameworks like Canopy or Playwright
  • Experience with AutoHotkey
  • Experience designing, developing, and using web APIs
