FINANCIAL ANALYST
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing a variety of accounting functions related to general ledger accounting, the month end close process, business analysis, forecasting, and reconciliations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Prepare basic financial reports/schedules as required for financial reporting
· Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts – includes processing transactions related to those accounts
· Prepare subledger to general ledger reconciliations
· Assist in the month end close process, external audits and related filings
· Adhere to all company procedures, values and policies to provide an accurate representation of the company to all potential and current customers
· Maintain a positive work atmosphere by interacting with the Company’s internal/external customers (including, but not limited to: current customers, prospective customers, clients, vendors, co-workers, supervisors and management) in a mutually respectful manner regardless of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age disability, veteran status, sexual orientation and all other protected classes

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related area is required
Experience: 2-4 years of experience; preferably in distribution
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communicator with positive attitude
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationship with service providers, field/office employees and managers in order to coordinate sales activities and policies
- Must be flexible, prioritize workload, detailed, and highly organized
- Ability to work as a business partner with people at various levels of an organization is essential
- Ability to work well as a team member, but also to work independently and be self-motivated
- Varied ERP experience/ability to learn ERP systems is required
- Access or Sequel experience a plus
Technology/Equipment: Ability to operate a variety of office equipment to include but not limited to personal computers, printers, scanners and calculators. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software
*WORK CONDITIONS:
- Environment – Work is performed inside the office with possible infrequent travel
- Physical Demands – Intermittent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and use of hands/fingers
- Mental Demands – Using standard mental and visual attention continuously, with occasional periods of continuous alertness and concentration
- Talk/Hearing – Must be able to receive and send information through oral communication. The noise level in the office environment is occasionally quiet and frequently moderate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
