Real Estate Acquisitions & Development Manager
The Position
This is an exceptional & unique opportunity for a senior Real Estate Development professional to join our client in their Jeffersonville, IN office – the ideal candidate will have a strong background in multifamily (or at least commercial) real estate development, construction, and project management, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
Our client are open to someone re-locating for the role, and will assist with the financial package.

The Responsibilities
- Manage the development of multifamily, assisted living, and industrial real estate projects from start to finish, including site selection, due diligence, entitlements, design, construction, leasing, and occupancy.
-Negotiate Letter of Intent and Purchase Sale Agreement terms regarding land acquisitions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with tenants, brokers, investors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Conduct market research and financial analysis to determine feasibility of potential projects and provide recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines to ensure successful completion within established parameters.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure projects are built to specifications and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with all zoning, building, and safety codes and regulations.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management, including progress reports, financial statements, and risk assessments.
- Manage and mentor development team members, including project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors.
The Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in commercial real estate development, construction, and project management.
- Strong knowledge of real estate development, construction, and project management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct market research and financial analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Familiarity with zoning, building, and safety codes and regulations.
