With expansive operations on both the West and East Coasts, we are seeking a dynamic 3PL sales professional to drive growth in our freight forwarding sector.
In 3PL Sales, you will manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, specifically targeting freight forwarding and 3PL warehousing services.
This role empowers you to provide end-to-end logistics solutions while building lasting relationships with clients. You will enjoy ownership of the accounts you secure, allowing you to maximize profitability over time.
Your industry knowledge and proactive approach will be crucial in driving sales in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to expand our freight forwarding and 3PL warehousing services.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, client meetings, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities specifically in freight forwarding and logistics solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics solutions.
- Attend trade shows and industry events to network, promote our services, and gain insights into market trends.
- Engage with cold leads and follow a structured methodology to achieve sales targets.
- Leverage hot leads provided by the company to drive immediate sales opportunities.
Qualifications :
- 2-5 years of direct sales experience in the logistics industry, specifically selling freight forwarding and / or 3PL warehousing services.
- Proven sales track record, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong understanding of the logistics and freight forwarding sectors, particularly in 3D logistics and warehousing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ambitious and driven, with a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid / remote setting, with occasional in-office meetings.
Compensation :
- Base salary : $70,000 annually.
- Uncapped commission structure.
