Dispatcher/Scheduler For Dumpster/Porta Johns

Job Overview:

• Managing truck drivers’ schedules and routes
• Scheduling freight to be picked up and delivered
• Providing shipping details to customers
• Reviewing logs of truck drivers
• Documenting all calls, deliveries, routes and times for pickups and deliveries
• Completing paperwork related to shipments, such as invoices
• Handling customer complaints and inquiries
• Negotiating rates and delivery time lines

e seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling freight deliveries, communicating with drivers, and ensuring timely and efficient dispatch operations.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and schedule freight deliveries
- Communicate effectively with drivers to ensure on-time deliveries
- Utilize dispatching software such as Oracle Transportation Management and AS400
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Maintain fleet management systems
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when interacting with drivers and customers
- Utilize SyteLine for order processing and tracking
- Familiarity with GIS for efficient route planning

Skills:

- Proficiency in dispatching procedures
- Strong data entry skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of fleet management systems
- Experience with Oracle Transportation Management and AS400 is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
- Familiarity with GIS for route optimization

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
