Webasto Roof Systems Inc. is currently recruiting for a Sr. Serial Buyer.

Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible forspecific plant(s) in series production
- Purchasing contact for our production plants
- Requesting quotations for technical/logistic changes of series parts and negotiating the tool modification costs and prices
- Implementing the ECAs into series production for plants
- Processing capacity inquiries from projects/sales and escalating/solving potential delivery shortages/problems in cooperation with plants
- Ensuring deliveries of spare parts (after EOP) and negotiating the costs in consideration of purchasing relevant factors
- Clarifying and eliminating price discrepancies in SAP
- Supporting by implementation of cost cut activities and supplier relocations etc.
- First escalation level for plant logistic issues with supplier
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor'sDegree in Engineering orBusiness Administration or related field
- 5 years experience within Purchasing for manufacturing; preferably automotive
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong relationship skill to work within a team (leadership, reactivity...)
- Manufacturing / engineering experience is a plus
- SAP / Excel experience
- Negotiation skills with distinctive target orientation
- Analytical, interdepartmental and customer oriented thinking and acting
- Knowledge in cost analysis
- Strong time and project management, problem solving and continuous improvement skills
