What are the responsibilities and job description for the SCM Team Leader position at Webasto?
Webasto is looking for: Supply Chain Team Leader
Responsibilities:
- Train, Develop, Monitor, and Evaluate colleagues using WPS and 5S Principles
- Streamline product flow to ensure no bottlenecks
- Monitor delivery of inbound material to match specified window times
- Monitor Supplier Deliveries for accuracy of Bar Code Labeling, Purchase Order, Part #, etc.
- Ensure right parts are delivered to production line in right quantity at right time
- Ensure stock is rotated properly and FIFO standards are met
- Coordinate Warehouse Storage to Optimize Floor Space & Utilize Visual Management
- Assist with implementation of effective line side storage
- Ensure PPAP submissions are received and forwarded to the appropriate colleague
- Ensure Engineering Samples are received and forwarded to the appropriate colleague
- Ensure Housekeeping Habits are systematically maintained; conduct Daily Walks & Inspections
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining all Powered Industrial Vehicles
- Complete Safety Incident Reports within 24 hours of occurrence
- Monitor stock level violations and notify Supply Chain Management of any issues
- Coordinate all Industrial Vehicle training; i.e., License Renewal, with Human Resources
- Ensure that all TS 16949 procedures, WPS, and 5S principles are followed
- Ensure Colleague compliance with Safety Regulations, including Hazardous Material Handling
- Promote and enforce a clean, safe and organized work environment to meet world class standards
- Interface with Human Resources on all Policy and Discipline issues
- Address Colleagues concerns Timely and Effectively
- Remain available by mobile phone except as otherwise approved by Manager; i.e., vacation
- Back up for the Group Leader when the Group Leader is absent or not on site
- Enforce Safety Policies and Procedures
- Evaluate and Recommend Disciplinary Action
- Discipline Colleagues for Violations of Company Policy and Procedures
- Enforce SAP Processes and TS 16949
Skills:
- Bachelor Degree, Supply Chain Management, preferred
- 3-5 years production / materials experience required
- Knowledge of SAP Warehouse Management
- Lean Manufacturing experience
- 2 years supervisory experience in automotive industry
- Ability and license to operate a Hi-Lo, prefer a Certified Trainer
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Good knowledge of production techniques and –processes
