Coalition Assistant major responsibilities will be to track monthly statistics from partners and develop and submit reports to grantors. In addition, take Minutes at all coalition meetings and disseminate to members, assist with workgroup tasks, i.e. gather materials necessary for workgroups, send reminders and follow-up with requests from members. Responsible for day to day office operations. In addition, will assist with special events and training.
Must have good communication skills, able to develop and revise documents and projects based upon input and feedback, good grammar and punctuation.
Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs and occasionally work late and/or work on a Saturday. Must have good rapport with people of all ages, especially youth.
Must be able to pass a Background Criminal Investigation check and have reliable transportation as meetings are held throughout Uintah, Riverdale, South Ogden and Washington Terrace.
Must dress, speak and conduct themselves professionally as a representative of the coalition.
Required Experience:
College degree in related field (prevention) and/or year-for-year experience in an office setting.
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience or willingness to learn how to use Powerpoint, Outlook and Canva.
