Summary:
The Weber Replenishment Expeditor is responsible for ensuring the delivery of supplier purchase orders complete and in-full in accordance with Weber’s material delivery plan. Execution of the material delivery plan is closely monitored and managed to proactively address outliers. Risks and/or disruptions to the material delivery plan are communicated promptly to Replenishment Planning, Production Planning, and Operations. The Weber Replenishment Expeditor reports directly to the Director of Supply Planning.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive supplier delivery performance to minimize variability between expected and actual delivery.
- Ensure material delivery and inventory plans support production needs with no interruption.
- Collaborate with Suppliers and supporting functions to ensure plans are realized: Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, Inventory Control, Engineering, and Finance.
- Contribute to core functional meetings including Shortage Meeting, Daily Production Meeting, and Daily Schedule Alignment Meetings and associated reporting.
- Monitor “dock to stock” priorities ensuring physical delivery and receipt as well as posted SAP transactions confirming receipt to inventory location.
- Monitor inbound imported containers for variance to due dates and coordinate priorities with logistics.
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements within our supply chain, both physical and transactional.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management or Business required
- 1-3 years of supply chain experience desired
- Demonstrated success at problem solving within a business environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Planning and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask required
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems. Experience with SAP a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required
- APICS CPIM certification a plus
