What are the responsibilities and job description for the Studio Manager position at WebMD?
Technical Producer Job Description
WebMD is the leading destination for health information for consumers. Medscape, a division of WebMD, develops and hosts physician portals that make it easier for physicians and healthcare professionals to access clinical reference sources, stay abreast of the latest clinical information, learn about new treatment options, earn continuing medical education credits, and communicate with peers.
With seven television studios worldwide, traveling studio-in-a-boxes, and large exhibit booths with studios, WebMD and Medscape are continuing to grow the amount of video produced. With close to 2800 videos a year, an average of over 7 videos per day, we are in a fast-paced and exciting time for anyone who loves video production and figuring out the best, most efficient ways to capture great-looking content at scale. Of course, the pandemic transformed how we can shoot video, with us moving almost entirely too remote recordings during the first half of the Pandemic, but we never fully stopped in-person tapings and now we are moving back out into the field and into our studios with more complicated hybrid tapings.
