Customer Solutions Leadership Trainee (Remote)

Starting Compensation: $25/hour

As a remote employee, you'll enjoy the same training and support to be successful in your position as employees at our physical corporate locations. We stay connected through video meetings, training sessions, and collaborative forums, and provide opportunities for you to connect with other employees from across the country. Our full-time remote employees will be provided with the essential computer equipment, such as hardware and software, needed to perform the job.

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious candidate with leadership potential to join our growing company. This role focuses on learning the ins-and-outs of the Customer Solutions department, with sights set on advancement within the company.

As a growing company, the opportunities and needs are always evolving. Some growth opportunities could include teaching our newest Customer Solutions Specialists, providing education to the department on products we sell, enhancing the customer experience by providing feedback on interactions, or even leading your own team!

Depending on your interests, strengths and abilities, you may have the opportunity to obtain a leadership position and complete some or all of the below:

  • Monitor chats and calls to minimize wait times
  • Help resolve escalated situations
  • Give feedback and suggestions to improve our responses to customers
  • Help Team Members problem solve to find creative solutions for customers
  • Recruit, hire, and train great employees
  • Encourage and mentor Team Members to reach their career goals
  • Become an expert within specialized facets of the restaurant supply industry
  • Conduct trainings on products for fellow Team Members

To qualify, candidates must have:

  • Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection.
    • Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used by WebstaurantStore to perform day-to-day tasks
    • Access to a home router and modem
    • A dedicated home office space that is noise and distraction-free.
      • The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible)
      • A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.)
        • PO Boxes are not supported as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment
        • The desire and ability to work and communicate in a professional environment with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.
        • Must reside within the states of NV, TX, AZ, WY, or KS to qualify for position
