With a commitment to changing the way healthcare is delivered in the United States, a passion for health and wellness, and a dedication to excellence, our innovative, growing, multi-state company, WeCare tlc, has an opportunity for a skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team for PRN coverage after that as well!!. WeCare tlc operates a health center for the employees and dependents of our client located in Quincy IL. The health center is open M-F.
The Medical Assistant under the supervision of the Health Center Sr Nurse Manager is responsible for assisting in the delivery of occupational, primary, urgent, and emergent care in an ambulatory setting with emphasis on prevention, treatment, and health maintenance.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Effective communication skills, high level of customer service and ability to work as a member of a team. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic human anatomy.

Prior Experience and Education
- Must have through education or training in the basics of medical terminology.
- Must have a Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant, EMT, PCT or CNA
- Current CPR/BLS
- Successful completion and graduation from a medical assistant program
- Clinical Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA)
- Phlebotomy experience
