Quality Control Inspector
Description
We are seeking a highly meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control inspector to join our team. As a QC inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. Your attention to detail and analytical mindset will contribute to our overall success in delivering exceptional products to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of constructed aerial and underground fiber networks.
- Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests to identify any issues or violations.
- Document and analyze inspection data and provide accurate and detailed reports in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, initiate corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and guidelines.
- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical education preferred.
- 5 years of telecommunication industry experience is preferred.
- Experience within Fiber Optic Network deployment is preferred.
- Previous experience as a QC inspector or in a similar quality control role within telecommunications is preferred.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and principles
- Previous experience with outside plant construction, splicing etc.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot defects or deviations.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
- Proficient in the use of measuring tools and equipment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of NESC/GO95/MAG standards and quality management systems is a plus.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Working knowledge of 3GIS, Google Earth or other industry standard geospatial applications. General computer application skills required (MSOffice applications, Adobe, GSuite, etc.).
