Wedgewood Weddings is hiring a Prep Cook! Our Prep Cook will assist with the food preparation and culinary execution of our weddings and special events working with the Head Chef in overseeing all aspects of our culinary operation.
We are open seven days a week, and we have both daytime and evening shifts.
Remember, we work when our clients and guests play, so weekend and evening availability is a must.
Wedgewood Weddings Prep Cook:
- have banquet, catering and restaurant leadership experience
- are safety and sanitation experts
- possess a thorough knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- have experience with inventory and cost controls
- exhibit consistent career progression and have excellent, supportive references
- are creative and have diverse plating and presentation skills
- Possess a passion for food and hospitality
- Have reliable transportation
- Practice safe food handling skills
- Are a positive and pro-active addition to our staff.
The Prep/Line Cook role is an hourly position. Yes, HOURLY! Over-time is paid, and our Prep/Line Cook schedules allow for a great work/life balance! The Prep Cook position will have the opportunity to participate in our health, dental, vision and life insurance benefits as well as our 401k program.
