Intermediate Lab Lead Technician - Thur - Sat

The Intermediate Lab Lead Technician is responsible for producing the highest quality and maintaining consistency in final packaged preparations. The lead tech accomplishes these tasks by working with Wedgewood Pharmacy's management team and all other staff employees in fulfilling his/her responsibilities and duties.

Essential Functions:

• Package all preparations into final containers according to company policies and procedures under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Learn the functions of MAS500 tasks
• Manage proc not limited to backorders and priorities
• Manage inventory needs
• Mentor new/struggling technicians in their packaging abilities
• Learn the ticketing system for IT and Facility issues
• Learn how to fill out incident reports
• Lead Continuous Improvements and changeover reductions
• Organize/6S 012
• Flexible work schedule
• Assist Pack Lab Supervisors as needed
• Learn and adhere to all safety and operating instructions when working with packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues in EBR and equipment
• Assist in prioritizing batch schedules to satisfy customer demand and minimize out of stock situations
• When working in the lab the operator will adhere to all safety guidelines including, but not limited to, lab coats, gloves, protective eyewear, and mask as defined by SOP.
• Provide regular feedback to supervisor on ways to improve systems and processes for Packaging Lab production, quality control, and safety
• Follow all Wedgewood policies, procedures, and SOPs

Required Credentials:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior related working experience and/or Pharmacy Technician Certification are strongly desired.
• Must be registered with the state of New Jersey as a pharmacy technician.
