Facilities Supervisor

Overview:

The Facilities Supervisor is a vital part of the Workplace Operations team and is responsible for making sure the company’s facilities look neat and presentable for employees and the public. They help uphold the image of the company by performing basic maintenance tasks including conducting office move requests, trash removal, front lobby support, and general office maintenance needs. A successful candidate will be organized, dedicated, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously. This role is located in the Irvine, CA headquarters, and requires in person, daily attendance.

The impact you'll make: 

• Work with management to create an effective cleaning schedule, which will include day-to-day routines and one-off facilities projects within a work timetable.
• Oversee the overall maintenance, repair and cleanliness of the Irvine, CA headquarters.
• Work cross functionally with other departments to complete projects as needed.
• Complete minor repairs and building improvements.
• Set up desks for new hires and move desks and other furniture as tasked by management.
• Build, deliver and install furniture for employees upon management’s request.
• Maintain the upkeep of restrooms and stock.
• Respond to any major spills or other cleaning needs.
• Occasional minor repairs, touch-up patching and painting.
• Coordinates multiple projects (such as moving & maintenance) with efficiency and proficiency in meeting timelines and schedules.
• Undertake occasional custodial and janitorial tasks.
• Manage relationships and serve as primary liaison for regular service vendors (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, cleaning). 
• Managing the facilities budget within Workplace.
• Schedule and oversee maintenance and repairs.
• Inspect all work performed by any vendors to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Maintain inventory and usage of offsite storage units.
• Must possess good communication skills and time management skills as tasks will be coming from both Workplace Operations and Information Technology. 
• Manage any Facilities Specialists duties and overall work.
• Other duties as assigned by the Office Manager or Director of Workplace.

What you've accomplished:

• Required - Ability to lift 75-100 lbs
• Basic (entry-level) AV/Information Technology knowledge 
• 2 years experience within facilities operations or construction
• Familiar with an office setting 
• Ability to work after hours and weekends as necessary
• Experience using a ticketing system for task management (Jira/Service Now/Zendesk)
• Experience with Concur
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office/G-Suite
• Team player
