Job Posting for Pharmacist at Weeks Medical Center - PHARMACY
Job Summary:
The Clinical Staff Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care and pharmacy services under the general direction of the Pharmacy Manager for the patients and clinical staff. The Clinical Staff Pharmacist dispenses pharmaceuticals and related products, reviews, approves, and monitors drug therapies (medication management), consults with other clinical disciplines, providers, administrators, families, and patients. S/he will also participate in the development and utilization of emerging technologies that directly or indirectly affect the provision of pharmaceutical care and services and the management of medications. QualificationsLicense/Certification: Currently licensed in the State of New Hampshire or eligible for reciprocity; BLS certified. Education: Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy or Pharm D degree. Experience: Health system experience preferred, but not required. Prior experience with pharmacy / medication computer systems and computer project build and testing strongly preferred.
