What are the responsibilities and job description for the People and Office Administrator position at Weezie?
Weezie is looking for a part- or full-time People and Office Administrator to coordinate all of our administrative needs. We are looking for someone with a positive, "no task too small" attitude that is excited to help execute a wide range of tasks across the business. The ideal candidate has a high level of discretion, is dependable and thrives in a fast-paced work environment. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations and working closely with the co-founders, you will be exposed to every aspect of the business.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Employee recruitment – assist with candidate screening, interview coordination and background check administration for both full-time candidates across the fulfillment, retail and corporate teams as well as temporary fulfillment support during busy seasons
- Employee onboarding – lead all new employee onboarding inclusive of distributing offer letters, issuing company hardware (computer, monitor, access keys, etc.), granting access to relevant systems, administering the employee handbook, etc.
- Payroll & expense reimbursement – reconcile time cards, track attendance, administer bi-weekly payroll, issue any wage changes and/or bonuses and execute all expense reimbursement requests
- General admin – administer benefit programs such as the employee discount programs or parental leave, maintain documentation such as employee contracts, work authorizations, own internal communications regarding benefits, policies, assist with travel bookings, etc.
- Facilities management – ensure Atlanta-based facilities (Austell warehouse, Buckhead retail store, Westside Provisions corporate office) are well-stocked, clean and in working order through management of janitorial services, security services, etc.
- Employee engagement – administer employee engagement and feedback surveys, plan and execute employee events throughout the year inclusive of lunch & learns, give back days, happy hours, team bonding events, etc.
- Employee offboarding – ensure a smooth offboarding process inclusive of collecting company hardware, removing access to relevant systems, assisting with transition plans, and conducting exit interviews
- Calendar & Project Management– maintain the corporate calendar tracking key dates, out of offices, etc. and assist with adhoc project management as needed
WHO YOU ARE:
- 2-4 years of experience in an administrative or coordinator role
- Extremely trustworthy, diligent and detail-oriented
- Flexible, as it is not unusual for tasks to pop up that may fall outside of this job description
- Friendly, personable and excited to represent the Weezie brand to interview candidates
- Proactive, with a bias towards action
- Loves a to-do list and are execution oriented

- Hybrid work: Full time roles will work Monday and Friday remotely, and in person Tuesday through Thursday. We anticipate that most of the Administrator's in person days will be spent working from our new corporate office in Westside Provisions, but depending on business needs, some days may require you to spend time in our warehouse in Austell or our Retail store in Buckhead. This Fall in particular we expect more time to be spent in Austell assisting with seasonal recruiting needs.
