The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for monitoring inventory and performing cycle counts, ensuring that the materials match the reported inventory. Also responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by processing material reports and transfers, and helping others locate.

Primary Responsibilities
- Performs cycle counts; physically counts finished goods and products to correlated with in-house inventory
- Informs supervisor of material shortages
- Assists with researching inventory discrepancies and submits reports
- Updates transactions in SAP
- Maintains proper labeling of all physical storage spaces; makes sure all barcode labels and bins are in good condition
- Ensures proper rotation of first-in first-out (FIFO) items; scrap pull and removes items physically and systematically
- Maintains Warehouse 5S standard
- Maintains shrink at or below company standard
- Other duties and tasks as assigned
High School or GED preferred
Knowledge / Training
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organization and administrative skills
- Customer service skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts
- Detail oriented and the ability to multitask
- Knowledge of warehouse operation systems such as SAP or similar
- Knowledge of LTL and dedicated services
- 1-3 years inventory experience in a warehouse environment required
