Sales Manager - Coatings and Construction, Italy

Responsibilities

• To strengthen our EMEA Sales Team we are looking for a home-office based Sales Manager to grow our Coatings and Constructions business in Italy.
• Together with global- and regional business managers develop the targeted market segments to obtain sustainable & profitable growth
• Execution of the sales strategy for Italy
• Building up your business in the region with a high emphasis on new customers as well as developing and growing the commercial relationships with existing customers in Italy
• Periodically perform and communicate updated market intelligence towards progress on your products, customers/ prospects & competitors.
• Forecast and budget Sales volumes and figures
• Visit conferences and exhibitions to meet business partners and represent Wego

Key Qualifications

• You are a real sales ‘animal’ driven by results and who loves creating long lasting customer relationships and meeting new people. Somebody who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where you can create your own destiny, with a high level of ambition and passionate about developing a business
• Strong network and proven track record in sales and cold calls, business development and trade in the Italian Coatings and Construction industry gained in a similar role
• Must have experience selling pseudo commodities
• Previous experience within similar companies (international chemical/ingredients trading) is a strong plus
• Self-driven and hands-on, able to work independently in a remote set-up
• Analytical and develops business through a highly organized and structured manner
• A good communicator with a high level of negotiating and influencing skills both orally as well as in writing
• You are a native Italian speaker and fluent in written and spoken English, additional language skills are a plus
• Proficient user of Microsoft Window Office (Outlook, PP, Word, Excel)
