Summary:

The Marketing and Reporting Assistant for WEHCO Video, Inc. is responsible for keeping the Marketing department moving while also maintaining daily, monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports and dashboards for upper management. The company envisions this individual to be extremely organized and detail oriented. You will be the primary point person for broadband marketing and advertising in our 9 markets. Our company provides essential broadband services to communities in Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma and Mississippi.

Job Duties:

Marketing is the priority job focus for the Marketing and Reporting Assistant. This individual will work with creative services vendors and the Director of Marketing to develop print and digital marketing materials for distribution. Building relationships with advertising contacts and working to ensure the company is receiving the best “bang for our buck” when it comes to advertising is very important. The assistant will place those advertising orders, ensure the creative pieces are ready, and approve invoices for payment in a timely manner. The company likes to track the return on investment including how marketing dollars are converted to sales and this position will assist with showing those gains.

This position will also identify, coordinate and plan community events while collaborating with team members across our service area. While this person may not be required to attend every sponsored community event, they will be encouraged to attend as many as possible (travel and expenses reimbursed) and ensure that the event is a successful marketing tool.

The Marketing and Reporting Assistant will use utilize previously built queries to pull reports and convert the raw data into a user-friendly format such as dashboards, charts, graphs and presentations. The data you analyze will cover a variety of company interests including, but not limited to, technical performance, customer surveys, sales conversion rates and office productivity.

Our company also has required reports due to state and federal governmental agencies on a regular basis. You will assist the Director of Marketing with collecting the data to complete those reports and submit before the specified deadline.

Required Qualifications/Tasks/Skills Needed:

• High school diploma or GED

• Organizational skills and some experience tracking multiple projects at once

• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills

• Strong computer literacy skills – advanced knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word

• Ability to collect, analyze and distribute company data in easy to understand reports and company dashboards

• Must be available to attend community events, with some overnight travel required

• Knowledge of broadband operations and its terminology preferred

• Demonstrate a commitment to the mission and vision of the company

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Ability to multitask and perform other duties or special projects as required

• Must have reliable transportation to work

Physical Requirement and Environmental Conditions:

• Lifting up to 40 pounds from a level of 0 to 35 inches.

• Sitting, Walking, and Standing up to 3 hours per day on a variety of surfaces.

• Carrying up to 20 pounds.

• Twisting, kneeling, bending movements are required.

• Finger dexterity and wrist movement are required.

• Position is routinely exposed to loud noises and bright lights and/or glare.

• Position is routinely exposed to a variety of weather conditions (if outside sales).
