Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Lowboy Driver to transport heavy equipment and machinery to various job sites. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a lowboy trailer and possess a valid CDL license. The Lowboy Driver will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of equipment, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and maintenance of the lowboy trailer. The Lowboy Driver will also be responsible for completing necessary paperwork and communicating with dispatch to ensure efficient delivery schedules.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL license with no restrictions and up-to-date physical
- Minimum 4 years of driving experience
- Experience operating a lowboy trailer
- Ability to safely transport heavy equipment and machinery
- Ordering OSW permits & completing necessary paperwork
- Securing loads using chains, ratchets & straps
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
