Our team provides a full range of services including general brokerage, property management, asset management, and development services. We operate exclusively in Texas’ major markets: Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio.
Weitzman is seeking an Associate | Analyst to join its corporate office located in the Uptown area of Dallas. This position will report directly to the Executive Chairman and is responsible for providing support to assist with new business development for shopping center acquisitions, retail development projects, third-party brokerage, and property management. The Associate | Analyst will also gain exposure to lease negotiations, asset management, development & construction processes.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential land and shopping center acquisitions.
- Assist with preparing and negotiating purchase sale agreements.
- Provide market research including land comps, lease comps, and new residential developments.
- Participate in asset management and development meetings and real estate tours.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Texas Real Estate License preferred
- 1 - 2 years of commercial real estate experience in brokerage or finance preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, with flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as needed
