WelbeHealth provides life-extending health care to seniors who need it most. Our model of care is unique, in that we are the health plan and provider of primary care services that support our participants to stay in their homes rather than going into a skilled nursing facility.

The Market Development Manager fills a crucial role in the O&E Department responsible for successfully marketing WelbeHealth and its programs internally through various outreach methods, maintaining relationships, and cultivating new and existing relationships with referral sources. The Manager will partner with the outreach team, counseling participants, and families to choose the appropriate health plan and medical care for their situation. In addition, this manager ensures that all activities follow CMS and DHCS compliance rules and WelbeHealth policy and procedures. The Market Development Manager is a member of the WelbeHealth leadership team and facilitates collaborative relationships across WelbeHealth and external stakeholders to promote the WelbeHealth values, team culture, and mission.

Essential Job Duties:

• Ensure that the market achieves its gross and net enrollment goals every month through multiple sources.
• Be a community ambassador for WelbeHealth, spending most of their time in the community nurturing and building new community relationships.
• Responsible for best practices in generating leads and enrollments through community grassroots events, center tours, and other strategic partnerships.
• Contribute to planning/strategy meetings with the Outreach and Enrollment Team and Interdisciplinary Team.
• Identify opportunities to collaborate with community organizations and referral sources.
• Implement processes to minimize disenrollment’s within 90 days of enrollment.
• Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evening nights, weekends and overtime.
• Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or health care administration preferred.
• Experience building and managing community relationships.
• DHCS training and exam as a marketing representative within 30 days of hire
• Performance-driven with a passion for expanding our mission to seniors in our communities.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a successful sales and marketing role with at least one (1) year in a healthcare or senior care setting (within service area preferred; outside sales experience preferred)
• Bilingual Spanish/English REQUIRED
