Position Summary:
The Director of Sales Planning leads the sales planning team, which acts as the conduit between field/ customer sales teams and corporate partners in driving sales strategy and revenue optimization. The director works collaboratively to align strategies and initiatives and then effectively communicates those strategies and initiatives to the field sales team in conjunction with their team.
The Director also develops and tracks KPI's to ensure execution from the field sales team and identifies strategies to maximize sales with target customers and consumers. This person leads the trade budgeting process setting direction on frequency and depth of discount for all of our product platforms.
Where You'll Work
This role will be based out of our Concord, MA headquarters. Our company in-office schedule is designed to maximize collaboration & relationship building balanced with flexibility and well-being with 3 days in office and Thursdays/Friday being remote, flex days.

What You'll Do:
- Works cross functionally to help develop our strategic growth plans (SGP) and annual operating plans (AOP)
- Develops customer channel innovation presentations that focus on sales execution strategies including category and consumer insights, marketing and promotional plans, pricing, merchandising and shelving recommendations
- Deliver volume and profit projections, analyses, and results that contribute to achievement of the financial objectives
- Analyze and communicate KPI's for our customers and product platforms
- Develop and implement the distribution, shelving, pricing and promotional strategies
- Establish trade rates for all customers to ensure promotional expectations are met and optimized
- Coordinates discovery meetings with strategic customers on new growth ideas

What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business/marketing or a similar focus. An equivalent combination of education and experience that proves competence in role may be considered
- 10 years of experience required in Sales Planning, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Category Management, Customer-facing sales roles, Sales Operation, and/or Sales Strategy
- 7 years of experience within food, beverage, and/or CPG industries required
- Experience in financial planning, forecasting, and inventory management
- Good knowledge and experience with major retail customers
