Position: Health Content Intern
Reporting To: Manager, Strategic Partnerships & Content Operations
Start Date: June- August 2022 (dates flexible; 40 hrs per week), with flexibility to continue part-time (10-15h/week) into the 2022-2023 academic year.
Location: Remote (with the opportunity to work in our Chapel Hill, NC or Newton, MA [Boston] office, if desired)
Position Summary
As part of the Health Content team, the primary mission is to develop, refine, and build content that supports Well’s goal to offer end-to-end health and wellness support for all members to improve total health and reduce costs.
- You will partner closely with our Medical Director, Behavioral Health Director, physicians and ops team to create and review member-facing clinical content
- You will support operational processes, including final review of content and efforts to streamline our approach and increase efficiency
- You will ensure technical rigor and adherence to the detailed editorial guidelines for all Well content
- You will build short and long-form content into our app platform utilizing an internal development tool
- You will assist in testing and editing content prospectively and retrospectively
- You will take personal responsibility for keeping all Well systems and data, including sensitive member data, secure and safe, according to Well data and security policies and HIPAA guidelines
Minimum Qualifications
- Current undergraduate student preferably with a concentration in health, computer science, or engineering healthcare-related field (BS/BA).
- Industry knowledge and experience in healthcare, public health, and/ or healthtech
- Interest in creating, refining, and adapting clinical content
- Excellent communication
- Strong collaboration skills
- Research experience and analytical skills
- Flexible, self-starter who is willing to learn, adjust and adapt
- Ability to work in a fast paced start-up environment, maintaining focus on efficiency and consistent improvement
- Detail oriented, management of deliverable timelines
