What our Tennis Directors are all about:
Our Tennis Directors are responsible for overseeing of the club’s tennis program to include developing, implementing, and marketing lessons, leagues, tournaments, special events and programs for individuals and groups of all ages and abilities from youth to aging and elite and recreational. Tennis Director’s also recruit, hire and develop tennis department associates to ensure state of the art tennis instruction, tournaments and leagues.
Tennis Directors work within a team with club and company facilities team to ensure highest level of court playability, maintenance and repair. They represent the Club in area professional tennis activities and at state or national tennis events with approval from the General Manager. The Director teaches a minimum of 5 on court hours per week.
What you’re all about:
- 2-4 years as a Head Tennis Professional with prior supervisory/management experience.
- 10 year’s tennis experience in competitive play and 5 years teaching experience.
- Desire to be a Club Leader through participation in all member events, functions, retention and new member acquisition
- Demonstrated financial success of Tennis programs you have run including understanding of accounting and budget functions.
- Membership in either the USPTA or the USPTR organization.
- Educated interest or participation in pickleball including how to organize a great community and experience for participants.
- Excellent communication skills including oral, written and listening.
- Ability to motivate, organize and lead others to achieve objectives.
- Independent / innovative / entrepreneurial thinker.
- Outgoing/personable/friendly.
- Four-year college degree preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.

*All benefits vary based on employee job status and including hours worked. Compensation: $75,000 - $110,000 annually. Based on achievement of department’s financial goals and club membership level.

Salary : $75,000 - $110,000
