What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Assessor position at Wellcove by CHCS Services?

The assessment involves administering a cognitive screening (MMSE or SPMSQ) and documentation of the Claimant’s ability to complete ADL and IADL tasks.
The assessment is expected to take 90 minutes (about 1 and a half hours).
Skills
- The ideal candidate will be technologically savvy and be able to utilize a computer/tablet.
- Proficient with Microsoft office applications (Adobe Acrobat).
- Have strong interpersonal skills with a desire to help seniors and their families.
- Current unencumbered RN licensure in state of practice.
- Must have or be willing to obtain a professional liability insurance policy.
- Must have a current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable vehicle and/or public transportation.
- Minimum of 2 years of home health experience, or nursing in an equivalent area of practice serving geriatric clients.
- Must have your own computer/tablet and internet access.
COVID 19 – Assessments are performed in the Claimant’s home or facility setting. Assessor’s are required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing, if asked. Claimant/Family or Facility for each assessment may have additional COVID-19 requirements
