Pipefitter
Description:
We are looking for a Pipefitter for commercial swimming pool contractor. The position may require travel due to out-of-town project sites. Must have transportation and small tools.
Responsibility:
- Must be knowledgeable in plumbing means and methods.
- Ability to assemble/install, and maintains pipe systems and pipe supports
- Ability to plans installation or repair to avoid obstructions and to avoid interfering with activities of other trade work.
- Knowledge of pipe supports including brackets, clamps, and hangers, using hand tools and power tools.
- A pipefitter installs and maintains hydraulic and pneumatic components of pool equipment, for example pumps, air compressors, actuated valving, sensors, using hand tools and power tools.
- Correctly interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans
- Provide support to pipe fitter foreman with project layout and elevation shooting
- Responsible for operating electrical, air-powered, and regular hand tools during projects
- Responsible for carrying out general construction labor tasks
- Provide support with fabrication during projects
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
- Ability to read a site level and interpret elevation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
