How you make a difference

As the Finance Director, you will hold a pivotal role within the divisional finance team, leading and nurturing a team of accounting and finance professionals. Your primary focus will involve providing direct support to Operations and Clinical Administration, as well as collaborating with corporate accounting to ensure the precision and timeliness of financial closings. Leveraging strategic financial insights, you will empower operations by enhancing their understanding and visibility of financial data, driving initiatives aimed at improving earnings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly preparation of internal financial reports, client contract reporting, billing, revenue recognition, and cost-related functions while mentoring a team of direct reports to ensure accurate and timely execution.
  • Present comprehensive monthly business unit performance analyses and budget variances to divisional leadership, collaborating closely with operations to identify opportunities and propose financial performance enhancements.
  • Serve as the primary finance contact for Regional or Site Operations staff, maintaining expertise in contract review and transaction accuracy, and actively engage in data analysis and modeling using analytical tools.
  • Oversee select journal entries to maintain precise divisional results, support internal and external audits as directed by the VP of Accounting – Business Units, and ensure adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct research and cost structure analysis while upholding organizational policies and performing additional duties as assigned to support the financial integrity of the division.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, business or finance. 

Experience

  • 5 years’ experience in finance in a large-scale environment, multi-site experience preferred.
  • Experience in accounting or working closely with accounting teams during month end close cycle required.

Additional Details – Candidate Facing

This position can be remote but welcome a candidate local to Pine Bluff AR area to work on site a few days monthly. Remote candidates will need to be open to occasional travel
