Hampstead Hospital & Residential Treatment Facility (HHRTF) is an acute inpatient psychiatric hospital and a residential treatment program that treats children, adolescents, and young adults. HHRTF is located in a beautiful setting in southern New Hampshire that provides plenty of outdoor areas to play, walk, and promote well-being. Children deserve to have healthy and happy childhoods so that they can grow into wholesome and happy adults. How you make a difference
As the Program Director Hampstead, you will be tasked with overseeing all administrative aspects of patient care, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. Your leadership will be crucial in promoting staff education, training, and performance improvement initiatives, collaborating with unit leadership to develop and implement clinical programming. You will also work closely with hospital departments to ensure seamless teamwork among disciplines, while providing clinical oversight and supervision to direct care staff and making important decisions regarding hiring, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions. Your coordination skills will be essential in ensuring adequate staffing for clinical services and conducting ongoing evaluations of all aspects of clinical programming.
Key Responsibilities
• Demonstrate expertise in the specialty area and stay current with the latest knowledge and practices.• Exhibit strong leadership skills, fostering effective communication, problem-solving, and team-building among staff.• Direct the development of patient-centered milieu programming to ensure the highest quality of care.• Provide administrative management and oversight for all direct care staff.• Develop and maintain program budgets to optimize efficiency while upholding excellent patient care standards; ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and hospital standards for nursing services documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field with program management experience is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum five (5) years inpatient psychiatric or substance abuse experience, as appropriate.
- Progressive leadership experience.
Licenses/Certifications
- Specialty Certification when appropriate
- CPR Certification (within 3 months of hire)
- CPI Certification (within 3 months of hire)
Compliance
- Corporate Compliance (within 2 months of hire)
