COVID-19 VACCINATION NOTICE: Covid19 vaccination or an approved medical or religious exemption is required for employment with the Mental Health Center of Denver. Applicants who are not vaccinated at the time of offer acceptance can ask for instructions on where to go to obtain vaccination or on how to request an exemption. Newly hired employees must be fully vaccinated (that is, at least two weeks past their final does of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine regimen) and provide proof, or have an approved medical or religious exemption, on or before their start date.

STARTING SALARY: $15.87/hr

Vocational Trainee - Door Greeter

Learning Objectives & Competencies to be Gained

1. Open the door for the people we serve
2. Ensure that everyone entering the building has their temperature take and is wearing a mask
   • Per MHCD’s Covid protocols
3. Check off people who are scheduled for the Shoppette
4. Occasionally help people out with their groceries
5. Answer basic MHCD questions
   • Our hours of operation
   • Hand out information for intake for folks who are not people we serve

Timeline to Complete program

• Training: 4-6 months
• Proficient: 6-9 months
• Completion of vocational employment: 9-12 months
• Individual will be introduced to an Employment Specialist 3 months before scheduled vocational employment completion
