Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.
Job Description
As a Service Technician you will be required to perform various types of distribution service calls. Typical tasks include:
- Investigate electric system irregularities
- Emergency first response to electric system related events
- Transmission and distribution switching
- Routine system maintenance
- Street light maintenance
Work location is Hyden, KY and surrounding areas. Overtime opportunities available.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Journeyman Lineman
- 5 Years of experience recommended
- Must live within 45 minutes of Hyden, KY
- Valid driver's license and medical card
- Own your own hand tools
- Proficiency with electrical distribution systems
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening
