About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant in Corporate and Investment Banking ('CIB') to lead the execution of the data management policy and procedures. This is a key role on the Data Governance and Oversight team under the CIB Infrastructure Services Technology, Data, Information Management and Information Security Team. This position will establish and manage a global operating model to operationally support the line of business and specifically the Application Business Owner for CIB to deliver against governance activities related to data management risk and compliance requirements.

About this role:

This position will establish and manage a global operating model to operationally support the line of business and specifically the Application Business Owner for CIB to deliver against governance activities related to data management risk and compliance requirements.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop a global data management operating model
- Partner with business, technology and control executive managers, as well as other line of business horizontal service teams and Enterprise functions, for the execution of data management deliverables across Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB)
- Manage CIB compliance to Enterprise data policies
- Identify, manage and support the resolution of data quality defects and data issues
- Identify, manage and support control remediation plans
- Establish applicable data quality controls associated with key business elements
- Manage and partner in the create and maintenance of required business metadata and data quality control information in aligned with respective data policies
- Identify, approve and communicate changes across the CIB data environment
- Support the categorization of applications, including new applications and applications in development/being assembled, in alignment with respective data policies
- Support data Domain / Sub Domain definition and registration
- Support data Domain Council Meetings and related routines
- Identify, establish and monitor key data management risk metrics
- Partner with upstream and downstream Governance and Oversight ('G&O') roles, as applicable, to understand uses of relevant data and evaluate whether data is fit for purpose and ensure proper controls are implemented for complete and accurate retrieval for data aggregation and reporting purposes
- Identify data management risk, measure compliance and assess the effectiveness of controls for risk mitigation
- Implement appropriate data management controls to mitigate data management risk
- Identify and escalate key and emerging risks related to data management
- 5 years of Management Consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 10 years of financial services industry experience
- Knowledge of the enterprise data domain and data environment construct - data sourcing, conformance and distribution
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of data governance compliance
- Knowledge of data movement, detective and preventative data quality controls
- Data analysis of large structured and unstructured data sets for critical decision-making and problem-solving
- Extensive business analyst skills including, but not limited to, technical, analytical, communication problem-solving and research
- Experience in technology delivery or technology change and potential resulting risks
- Experience in design of metrics and measures for monitoring effectiveness of controls for business risks
- Experience creating business process in alignment with Enterprise and line of business policies
- Business Process Engineering experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Six Sigma or reengineering disciplines
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

- New York Pay Range - $115,900.00 - $206,100.00 Annual
