Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Growth Strategy Associate serves as a liaison between Wells Fargo Advisors home office to in the field managers and Financial Advisors (FA) across the region. Driving and increasing Financial Advisors (FA) productivity through training, education and client experience is the top priority for the team. The individual is responsible for delivering education on Investment Management, Practice Management and Planning strategies throughout their respective market. In this role, you will:
Participate in planning and execution of tactical activities and projects that directly support or assist in implementation and optimization of efforts for growth opportunities in an assigned market
Ensure adherence to compliance regulations and policies
Perform research within Business Growth Strategy functional area, identify and select best channels and product combinations to improve effectiveness and efficiency of coverage in marketplace and to meet the unique needs of customers
Receive direction from Business Growth Strategy supervisor and exercise independent judgment while developing strategies to enhance growth opportunities in a designated market
Participate in defining and tracking metrics
Collaborate and consult with Business Growth Strategy managers, colleagues, stakeholders, bankers, brokers, business, and community leaders, including internal or external customers to grow market share and meet customer needs
Required Qualifications:
6 months of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Successfully completed FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) exams to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
Desired Qualifications:
6 months of experience in one or a combination of the following: Financial Services, Business Development or Brokerage
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
Knowledge and understanding of business development: business vision, strategies, and goals
Knowledge and understanding of investment advisory and portfolio management
Strong telephone etiquette skills
Knowledge and understanding of investment advisory and consumer lending products in the financial services industry
Ability to interact and partner with all levels of branch associates, financial advisors and business units
Expectational presentation skills
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel in assigned territory up to 30% of the time
Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance.
Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory
For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required
