The Payments, Virtual Solutions, Innovation and Branch Technology (PVSI&BT) Control Team, within the first line of defense Technology Control organization, supports the PVSI&BT Division and CIO. A successful candidate for this role will have the ability to comprehend technical issues, determine root cause and impacts, understand proposed remediation plans, articulate complex concepts in a clear manner, influence change and have the ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment with excellent communication skills.
As a team member, this position will:
- Help identify and assess risk for the Technology Division
- Analyzing program/project requirements against the proposed solutions to determine technology risk levels, control weaknesses and to evaluate the risk of solutions not meeting requirements
- Reviewing mitigation/remediation plans and providing advice on mitigation effectiveness and alternative mitigation approaches
- Support Technology Executives and their team members on risk related matters
- Performing review of programs/projects according to risk program requirements and deadlines
- Ensure Strategic success for Technology and Business Partners
- Ensure appropriate technology risk management coverage
- Credible challenge on people, process and systems to ensure maximum business results and effective risk mitigation strategies
- Producing management reporting as applicable
- Effectively collaborating with business partners in the first-line-of-defense (FLOD), second line of defense (SLOD), audit and information security
- Working with stakeholders to ensure each has the tools, processes and expertise to effectively manage technology risks
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with the line of business, corporate regulatory and operational risk and compliance peers
- Ensuring that critical programs and projects remain aligned to the technology risk management strategy and functional framework
- Review from risk perspective new products, solutions, projects and programs

- Technical understanding of the Mainframe and related applications such as Hogan
- Demonstrated experience in technology issue management
- Demonstrated information technology experience in areas such as infrastructure management, network management, systems development lifecycle, architecture, and application support and information security.
- Demonstrated operational risk and technology risk experience
- Knowledge and understanding of technology regulatory guidance and industry frameworks or standards FFIEC, NIST, ISO, COBIT, PCI, ITIL, SOX, SOC
- Program or project management experience related to Technology Risk Management
- Experience with risk assessment methodology within the context of technology risk
- Third Party Risk Management
- Control Testing including Test of Design and Test of Performance
- Risk Reporting
- Executive Support and Interaction
- Process Management and understanding of Technology Processes (Asset, SDLC, Patching, Configuration, Vulnerability)
- Metrics Creation and monitoring
