In this role, you will:
- Guide, influence, develop, retain, and grow low to moderately complex client relationships through the art of relationship management, by understanding the needs and priorities of clients and financial decision makers, responding quickly, communicating proactively but strategically, managing expectations, and soliciting feedback
- Manage and develop team of relationship managers with low to moderate complexity and risk in Commercial Banking on the structuring, modification, and renewal of moderately complex cash flow, real estate loans, and certain other industry specific solutions, through analyzing financials, presenting to clients, and engaging with stakeholders and internal partners as needed
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development in the Commercial Banking Relationship Management group
- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations of relationship management team to meet business objectives; interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
- Collaborate with and consult with peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers, interact directly with clients, represent the company externally, and lead a team of individuals to resolve client issues while achieving Wells Fargo’s business objectives, by helping clients navigate processes and escalating inquiries when needed
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in Commercial Banking Relationship Management; mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
- Direct team in driving relationship planning activities and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines by keeping information current in relevant systems
- Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide vision, leadership, and expertise on client and market needs to enable the innovation, design, and delivery of credit solutions more effectively
- Supervise and guide team to offer the full suite of solutions to meet clients’ needs, by developing best practices to engage product organizations and understand clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions
- Supervise and develop relationship management team to support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients, focused on building long-term, profitable relationships through strategic leadership, excellent product knowledge, flawless deal execution, and superior customer service
Required Qualifications:
- 6 years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3 years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Commercial credit experience involving commercial or specialty group relationship portfolio credit
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of credit policy, compliance, and underwriting requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of commercial or specialty group banking products, and the credit practices/operating risks associated with them
- Ability to motivate others to greater performance
- Ability to successfully exceed goals with a results focus
- Strong collaboration and partnering skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
