About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Interest Rate Derivatives Middle Office Specialist within Corporate and Investment Banking.


In this role, you will:

  • Provide superior service while responding to inquiries from both internal and external customers as per the standards defined by Wells Fargo.
  • Focus primarily on daily trading profit/loss reporting, analysis and attribution, risk reporting, curve construction, and regulatory reporting of aforementioned figures.
  • Contribute in the development of processes and procedures to support a growing business
  • Collaborate with partners that support the business in various capacities including trading, sales, technology, compliance, risk, operations, legal, and audit. 
  • Improve the existing infrastructure through system testing and effective project management.
  • Assist trading with minimizing costs and identifying concerns that can be expected.
  • Review, analyze and resolve moderately complex trade issues that require in-depth evaluation
  • Resolve moderately complex trade issues
  • Lead team to meet functional area and process deliverables
  • Deliver solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures and compliance requirements
  • Lead projects and assist senior managers with industry related initiatives
  • Serve as a mentor for less experienced analysts

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 4 years of Capital Markets industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Calypso experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of loan, securities, and derivative products
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
