About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant for our Small Business Card Team in Cards & Merchant Services as part of Consumer Lending. This role will serve as a strategic partner for the Small Business Card leadership team and will partner across the organization to effectively deliver the Small Business Card strategic plan. Responsibilities will focus on managing the Small Business Card strategic roadmap, business process improvement, capacity planning, and executive communications.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives

  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate

  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support functions to improve business performance

  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans

  • Collaborate and consult with team leaders and key partners to drive strategic initiatives

  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced team members and key partners within the group

  • Manage the business card strategic roadmap, focused on improving the flow of work, capacity planning, and supporting implementation of initiatives

  • Lead team executive communication strategy and execution


Required Qualifications, US:

  • 5 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5 years project management experience within the financial services industry  

  • Experience working with and supporting small business customers

  • Experience with Agile methodology of project delivery, including but not limited to partnering across multiple products to deliver large initiatives at scale

  • Strategic planning experience in translating business needs into executable strategies and initiatives enterprise-wide

  • Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships across the organization to effectively drive the business forward

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and strong writing/presentation skills, experience using data to tell a cohesive story to gain alignment with key partners

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritize and manage multiple complex initiatives concurrently

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of time
