Lead Real Estate Transaction Negotiator

About this role:

Wells Fargo Corporate Properties Group manages one of the largest operational real estate portfolios in the world, spanning 30 counties and more than 72 million square feet. Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Real Estate Transaction Negotiator for the New York and Connecticut real estate markets.

In this role, you will:

• Lead in the research and negotiation of highly sophisticated real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and lease transactions in highly results oriented markets
• Execute and coordinate complex projects with a familiarity of all aspects of the Wells Fargo due diligence process
• Conduct site valuations, prepare market data, negotiate terms and conditions, market and dispose of surplus space
• Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations in Corporate Properties policies and procedures that influence and meet deliverables to drive new initiatives
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications, US:

• 5 years of Properties Negotiation experience, Lease Negotiation experience, or a combination of both of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Experienced in Corporate Retail Real Estate Transaction Negotiation in New York and Connecticut.
• Previous Financial Services or similar regulated industry experience
• Proven ability to build positive, trusting work relationships with clients, stakeholders, vendors, property management, brokers, construction management, legal, finance, etc.
• Strong negotiation and creative thinking skills
• Experienced in Risk Mitigation strategies
• Strong financial and analytical acumen
• Clear and Concise Communications with all level of management.
• Strong time management and presentation skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office Skills

Job Expectations:

• Travel as needed throughout the assigned region as necessary

• NY-New York City: Min $133,300 Max $237,100
• May be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
