In this role, you will:

Support Heads of Finance for each business (Structured Product Group; Rates, Commodities, Contingent Credit Trading and FX; Credit and Municipal products; Equities) in the day to day financial management, planning, and financial resources optimization for the business.

Prepare financial performance analytics to support strategic reviews with the the desks; connect the usage of financial, tech and human resources with revenue and go forward strategic plan

Perform detailed review of direct and indirect expenses, headcounts; identify and track expense initiative
-
Support the analysis of existing and new products profitability
Required Qualifications:
-
4 years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree in corporate finance, economics or related area with advanced mathematical or data analytical skills

Business acumen in investment banking, strategy, or related role covering the financial services industry (in particular, the banking industry)

Strong interpersonal skills to effectively build and maintain partnership with key stakeholders and partners

Experience in developing financial projections and establishing financial goals

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to ramp up quickly on new technology, including understanding databases of large datasets and dashboard design

Strong Microsoft Office Skills (strong understanding of Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)

Outstanding problem solving skills

Ability to synthesize and effectively communicate complex financial concepts to a variety of audiences through excellent written and presentation skills

Ability to perform well under pressure
