This position will be accountable for the Middleware release management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating, and managing middleware releases across the enterprise. Middleware releases can be inclusive of software updates, patches, security improvements and configuration changes. This position will assist the Software Asset Analysts, Release Managers and Enterprise Application Services Middleware Engineering team manage and deploy releases into production. You will be accountable for ensuring these releases are moving through the workflow successfully and escalating when needed. Looking for a strong candidate that will be flexible as we continue to evolve and grow.
Responsiblities Include:
- Ensuring recently released software patches are dispositioned accurately in PTS
- Engaging the Product Owner for follow up regarding patch discrepancies (patch version, rating, priority, impacted releases, etc.)
- UAT Testing
- Reviewing Errors Dashboard
- Attending and/or Facilitating calls to discuss any anolomies found within discovery data
Required Qualifications
5 years of technology experience- 2 years of Agile experience
- 5 years of release management experience
Desired Qualifications
Experience managing medium technology development efforts within a major line of business- Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
- IT Infrastructure Library Certification (ITIL)
- Scrum Master certification
- Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban
