The Wells Fargo Deposit Products Group (DPG) within PVSI offers innovative checking, savings and payment solutions that form the core of our customers' relationship with Wells Fargo and fulfill a broad array of their financial needs. The High Yield Deposits product team within Deposits Products Group (DPG) is seeking an experienced professional that will initially manage major initiatives that will enhance services delivered to our deposit customers. We are looking for a Product Manager that will represent DPG in major cross-organizational projects including:
- Designing improvements for how the bank captures, stores and maintains information related to deposit account beneficiaries in ways that will enhance the customer experience, improve efficiencies, and reduce risk
- Address major changes in how the bank handles tax information and tax reporting for deposit accounts in response to changes in corporate tax policies which includes technical, operational and procedural changes to meet new requirements
- Introducing new capabilities that will capture trust grantor information for deposit accounts under trust ownership, remediate existing trust accounts to capture grantor information and work with areas within the bank that need to use the information for regulatory reporting
The ideal candidate would be able to:
- Lead projects from inception to completion, through collaboration across business lines and functional teams, including owning responsibilities for defining business requirements, working with project teams to resolve obstacles, identifying risks to project deployment and lead efforts to resolve or escalate as appropriate.
- Develop sound business cases to justify investments in systems and processes and work with business partners to gain agreement and acceptance for business case projections.
- Work with data analysts to develop reports and make data driven decisions to address issues.
- Identify and evaluate operational, regulatory, compliance and financial risks associated with our major initiatives and develop proposals to mitigate those risks; partner with legal, risk/control, compliance, technology and operations partners to implement projects aimed at reducing those risks
- Summarize and explain complex topics, present relevant details geared for the appropriate audience and explain tactical detail or key summary points including presenting topics to senior leadership.

- Knowledge of deposits systems, banker front-end platforms and online banking systems
- Familiarity with regulations governing account ownership categories, beneficiary eligibility and formal trust structures
- Excellent skills with MS Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
