Summary:
Participate in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating current and emerging risk exposures within Business Controls functional area. Provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and business controls. Monitor moderately complex business specific programs and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies. Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area. Provide guidance to business groups on the development, implementation, and monitoring of business specific programs to identify, assess, and mitigate risk. Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Will be supporting execution of Control Sharing Agreement requests, mailbox support, data reconciliations, SNOW hygiene reporting, and SNOW discrepancy queues
- Expected to work with minimal guidance and support functionally to meet the Business Control Management goals and control coverage requirements. The job involves interacting with managers, onshore partners to understand and analyze the processes, identify risks and controls in the processes, evaluate the controls, prepare, and publish reports to stakeholders
- Support RCSA related efforts to collect, document and assess business risk and controls across the business units.
- Support Change Requests, Business Environment Change
- Support reporting, timelines, and routines for all RCSA
- Support RCSA reporting and research such as controls, MCRs, risks across busine to gather informative data prior to RCSA workshop engagements.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA) and/or operational risk
- Project support skills - assisting with timelines, reporting routines, escalation
- Ability to work with guidance and function individually
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Advance knowledge of MS Office Excel β Macros, V-lookups, etc.
- Knowledge of MS Office especially Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Finance/ Banking/ Regulated industry/ Large Corporate Entity
- Able to move data from one system of record to another
- Knowledge and understanding of Consumer Banking products and services.
- Experience in Risk Management or Financial Services industry, equivalent experience demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience and/or education.
- Experience with Risk and Control Self-Assessment programs
- SNOW and SHRP experience (Preferred)
